Cameron Schwartz was an Assistant Coach for the Waves in 2025. She has been swimming competitively for over 13 years, and captained the Freeman High School varsity team before heading off to college. Cameron is a rising sophomore at Washington and Lee University, where she continues to compete. Cameron loves mentoring young swimmers and looks forward to leading the Waves in their upcoming season.
Edward Johnson is coming back for his third year assisting with the Waves! Edward is a recent graduate of St. Christopher's School and plans to continue swimming competitively at Bucknell University in the fall of 2026. He swims year round for NOVA and led the varsity team at St. Chris.
Ms. Lawson is from Richmond and has loved being in the water since joining her neighborhood swim team at age six. She swam competitively for 12 years and served as captain of her high school’s varsity team, where she developed a strong foundation in stroke technique and teamwork. Anna also spent several years teaching swim lessons and enjoys helping swimmers grow their skills and confidence in the pool.
She recently graduated from James Madison University with her Master’s in Accounting and will begin working full-time as an auditor this fall while pursuing her CPA.
Haley Baker will be helping coach the Waves for the first time this summer. Ms. Baker has been swimming with the Waves since the age of five. In fact, 2026 marks her 12th summer on the team.
Haley is a sophomore at Saint Gertrude High School, where she swims on the Varsity team. She has also competed year-round with SwimRVA for the past nine years. Haley loves working with young swimmers and is passionate about the team and the Willow Oaks swim community. She is excited to both coach and swim for the Waves this summer.
